![]() Gimp 2.0 is a free software first developed by Peter Mattis (GIMP 0.54) at end of July 1995. GIMP stands for General Image Manipulation Program. GIMP was originally developed to run like PhotoShop. Today GIMP is one of the most widely used editing software in the world, thanks in part to the dedication and hard work of the team. GIMP 2.6 has recently been released to the general public. So, what does GIMP 2.0 can do? It has many capabilities. It can be used as simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, and much much more. It is expandable and extensible. I have been using GIMP 2.0 for over 4 months now and I say that this is one of the most creative program I ever used. The thing that it is free also earns it a plus from me. I never though that I could make nice looking banners and logos for my sites but I did it using GIMP 2.0. It really brings the creativeness inside us. What are you waiting for? Start making your own banners. Note, it takes time to master the controls of the program. I taught my own self by trial and error. I click that and "Playback" and see if results in a good product. I didn't tried and explored the program's capabilities in one sitting because I know that after 30 minutes of not getting any results the brain get's kind of wonder off on the task ahead. You will get at least 4 PTZ a day. If you want to earn more PTZ, then you can invite your friends. They will earn you PTZs for joining. I have been a member for of this site since October 2009. Its been great being part of this site. I have gotten 4 things from them; a sticker (trial so I know that they were legit), headphone, aluminum sport bottle, and a hat. All of them for free. Isn't that great? I gave the hat to my brother since I don't look good using it and in doesn't make me comfortable. But Lockerz is not without any flaws. I recently came upon the Better Business Bureau's review about Lockerz.. BBB reviewed Lockerz and they graded their service as a C-. Apparently there were some problems about advertising and client relations. A few months ago, Lockerz was graded F- by BBB. Seems like Lockerz is improving its image by addressing concerns from its customers. |
