    Referrals are very important in business whether you are a business or an individual. A referral is simply what the word is constructed. Refer means someone told someone to go to here. To make it very simple to understand we will show a scenario. Okay, so this lady went to a newly opened restaurant called Italian Pasta for lunch. She liked the restaurants service, atmosphere, and of course the food. After eating she goes back to work. She then discusses where she went for lunch 
    with her co-workers. Her co-workers were interested about this restaurant and decided to visit the restaurant too. In this scenario, the lady is the referrer and her co-workers are the referrals. Referrals, simply put, are a way to increase your revenue. With just one person having a great experience, she attracted her co-worker and helped the restaurant turn out for the best.
    So here are ways to get referrals:
    1. Word of Mouth
    Word of mouth is the reference to the passing of information from person to another person. So if someone talks about a great restaurant to another, that's a type of word of mouth. I think this is one of the most driving factor that makes a business grow.
    2. Search Engine
    Buying keywords from search engines like Yahoo!© is pretty common way of getting your product or site out to the people. The way it works is that you first go to the search engine site or a broker and choose the right service you want. Then you give them the keywords you want to buy and the duration you want it to be. Some sites require that they check your order before they run. Make sure to read any rules they have about keyword advertisement. 
    3. Signature
    Many forums give you the privilege of having a signature. Signature is the place where you can things you want or do like pictures, links, and texts. You access your signature by going to your control panel and going to settings (varies). If you plan on using this, make sure to add as much information to make people interested about what your product or site.

    This site is really good for getting referrals because other users can follow you. If you have a well structured plan and knows a lot about a particular subject, then this is the way for you.     A little advice. When your are doing this advices and are not getting any referrals, be patient. Patience is your friend here. Referrals doesn't come immediately like success.
